It's getting a little breezy over here in Spring Hill.

I think you're gonna get a bigger piece of her than I do.
My wife leaned into storm prep this year and is annoyed we aren't taking a direct hit.
Terry's daughter for you.

Be happy you aren't taking a direct hit. Andrew was awful. Hurricanes were the reason we left Florida.
Please stay safe!!!!!

Andrew took homestead off the map. That's one of those storms everybody remembers. Like Katrina.
I've done Opal, George, Charley, and had near misses with Michael and Sally recently.
I wasn't here when Ivan or Dennis came through, but my brothers say it was rough. Days without power or water type of bad.

Lived in south FL from 1988 through 2009. Too many to count.
Andrew was the worst, 3 weeks without power. But my husband worked for FPL, so we had ice and food throughout. Katrina was bad, Wilma was the last straw. 10 days without power and the weather was cool, (it was November) in the 60's. Cold showers suck.
We were always prepared. Enough water, food and of course beer.

Florida Plunder and Loot!
My nephew just started with a line crew this summer and I believe is somewhere in this video clip of staged trucks.

This is gonna be one of those storms. Shit is wild here. Just lost internet for about 15 minutes. I'm just happy my power lines are underground. A lot of Spring Hill is without power right now.

It was closed, but there's no real way to actually physically barricade the bridges as they're going to be vital routes for emergency services when the storm is over.
People gonna do dumb shit regardless.
