Yes, I took back the handle @TullyMcNasty from the dastardly degenerates who dared hack my old account and use it for porn promotion.

Took a half second and I'm thinking Gregory is signed up to be where JTS was as the 3 or 4 edge.

They aren't going to pick up shoyinkas 5th year option, but I think he's going to get the start over a first round rookie because he was already getting similar production to Shaq Barrett on fewer snaps.

So it's do or die for JTS and Gregory this year with the expectation we go get a couple of splash guys at edge next year.

Retool the o-line and back 7 this year.

I mean Gregory is a 10 year vet who has never had 10 sacks so I'm not expecting him to light the world on fire. That said, if he and JTS combine for 14ish sacks between the two of them I'm perfectly happy. Not every edge rusher needs to be a guy who produces massive sack numbers. I think every team needs one of those guys and other than that it's all about depth and quality rotation. I think Diaby will end up being our 12+ sack a year guy. I think Kancey will also hover around 10 sacks a year if he stays healthy. I also love this because it takes a lot of pass rush pressure off of Vea.I'd love to see him play more of a Wilfork role eating up the middle and occasionally getting a sack when the opposing team foolishly singles him up against their center. I think that helps his longevity versus his current play style which is almost akin to Sapp but at 350+ lbs.

Yeah. With everyone the team has up front, I don't see a huge dropoff in production and thusly edge gets to slide down our list of draft priorities.

The best seasons Gregory had, he played 37% and 45% of the defensive snaps in his two 6 sack years. JTS had over 51% last year. I have a feeling this was a Licht special roll the dice signing

Now's your chance to get another contract if you're JTS or Nelson. Braswell needs to get in there too.
