What are your thoughts on the Gadsden flag being used as a substitute for the rebel flag?

I've seen this theory a few places but haven't really dug into. Not sure if it is just the usual "fear porn" or something more legit. But have pretty much stopped wearing anything with it on the apparel an I don't want to be associated with Trump, ever.

I didn't think about it until I saw it on license plates here in Florida and was thinking about other flags that got removed from license plates.

Pensacola is considered the city of five flags meaning there have been five flags governing the city. Spain, France, The UK, The US and The Confederacy. They pulled the logo showing the five flags off the police badges and city seal.

Flags, statues, names of military bases... I mean if your team thinks these are wins and makes a difference, Congrats?

Rarely do inanimate objects offend me. Plus, the Stars & Bars looks way cooler than the Gadsden ... this is just poor marketing by the "rebellion".

It just takes me back to how a lot of this is people still arguing about the civil war.

I won't connect all the dots for you because at the end of the day it's really just the root basis for the argument for this or that policy rather than looking at it on its face.
