Here it comes....
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) described the state of health care in America as “barbarism,” in a forthcoming episode of Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) podcast.

In a preview of Wednesday’s episode of “Bernie: The Podcast,” Ocasio-Cortez lamented the high costs of health care and housing and the difficult choices many Americans must face, as she recommitted to fighting for progressive change.

“The fact that people are choosing between medicine and rent is barbarism,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the preview released Sunday. “The fact that people are worried about whether they will be on the street every four weeks, is barbarism. The fact that every time a person has an ache or a pain in their body, and they’re scared that it could either be just a sore joint or cancer, but they can’t find out because they can’t afford the doctor.”

“This is barbarism. And if we do not demand, and not only demand but win unions healthcare, wages, ending endless war, then we will condemn ourselves to barbarism and I refuse to give up,” she continued. “I refuse to submit myself to that future. That’s not a life. And so, to live, we have to fight for each other.”

Trump cannot and will not win a healthcare policy debate with any Democrat.

Trump can't win a debate about anything with any Democrat.

True. But I love how nobody on the right sees this coming.

The US Senate on Thursday rejected sweeping immigration reforms for the second time this year as Republicans again blocked what would have been the toughest border security package in decades, dismissing it as a Democratic "gimmick."

Polling invariably shows immigration as a priority for voters ahead of November's presidential rematch between President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump, with illegal crossings at historic highs.

The Border Act, hammered out by both sides over months of negotiations, initially had broad support but was killed by Republicans in February after an 11th-hour intervention from Trump, who is making the border a central campaign issue.

Democrats brought it back to the floor Thursday, where it fell at the first hurdle -- a procedural vote to get debate started -- as Republicans again rejected the package.

Biden said in a statement Republicans had put partisan politics ahead of the country to reject "the toughest border enforcement in history," while Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas pledged to continue enforcing immigration law "with the limited resources we have."

Biden's reelection campaign circulated a statement blasting "border bill killer Donald J. Trump" and accusing the Republican of "creating chaos" for his own political ends.

Senate Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had helped negotiate the package when it was attached to $61 billion in Ukraine aid and hailed it as a "huge success by any objective measure."

CNN will be on later to tell you how this hurts Biden in the polls.

Speaking of CNN. Tony Scaramucci at the 7:50 mark pops the doom bubble.

I assure you that was not a popular take in that building.
