Pritzker saying the only thing Trump has in abundance is stupidity was almost cathartic. I honestly haven't seen this much energy and hype around a political event since Obama's fist campaign.
Go back and watch Shawn Fein from the UAW on the first night. Bro is based as fuck.

I watched a recording of that last night as well. "To quote the great American poet, Nelly, 'It's getting hot in here'." Fucking fantastic.

Ngl. Hillary, Michelle, and Barry were the lowest energy so far.

Nah. Fein and AOC had me fired up night one and I was digging Pritzger and Bernie last night.

Obama was entertaining, but still didn't say much.

I think Michelle having the entire room shouting "Do something" looks bad out of context.

Hillary literally put me to bed.

And everybody's speeches are too long.

But the state roll call was pretty awesome.

Hillary was the only one who I thought sucked, but she's never given a rousing speech in her life so I wasn't surprised. I really like Alsobrooks as well. No idea who she was before last night, but she gave a damn good speech.

That's enough Biden Republicans to win every swing state. About a seven point swing that puts Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Arizona out of reach for trump.

Turnout increases for Democrats due to abortion rights and healthcare (Biden hasn't even brought up the public option yet) put Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina, and even Kentucky in play.

Ted Cruz is vulnerable and he admits it. I dunno if we're flipping Texas yet. Seems pie in the sky at this point.
This was me in March while Joe ras riding high on his State of the Union speech.

The rationale being that Democrats could pull as much as half of that cohort of civic minded Republicans assuming the rest either stay home or vote trump anyway.

After the assassination attempt I'd figured that the GOP would be galvanized by the attempt and that it'd be a race to the polls.

I think the 14 point hole is a very real thing right now. And it'll probably show in the convention bump in the polls.

Trump has turned off a lot of Republicans that have brains. My fucking dad changed his party registration last month to Democrat and he's never voted for a Democrat other than Biden in my lifetime. I don't really know who he voted for in elections before I was born. That's anecdotal, sure, but I never ever expected my dad to register as a Democrat.
