Actual Communism. Finally saying the quiet part out loud.

Just going to drive up the cost of housing. Great idea by Harris and team.

Which part? The fact that government controlled pricing is a communist belief (stolen from Marx) or that home prices will rise?

How home prices will rise due to rent control. I'm well aware of Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto, and everything that goes along with it, otherwise I would have bolded that part for emphasis as well.

Easy Professor, I didn't see the folded text. My bad.

For one, sellers will simply raise prices if this occurs. As well as big corps gobbling up more homes gaining more leverage to set the maket. Also, artificially inflating demand without addressing supply is usually not a good strategy for price reduction.

Rent and price controls are not features of communism. In communism there's no real estate.

Definitely got the social democracy vibes going though.

Anyway, I'd expect a significant push to implement these things if elected. They're not going to elect the first woman president and go back to brunch. I think the selection of Walz proves that.

Everyone likes to point at the Afghanistan withdrawal as the moment the public soured on Biden but it was much sooner than that. It was reneging on the third stimulus check.

Harris won't make the same mistake. She'll feed the base with actual food.

Huh? You are claiming that communist leaders DON'T set the wages, set the prices, OR distribute the wealth?

Socialist leaders would, absolutely. Bro, communism is moneyless.

But to your point, If governments don't set prices, corporations will.
