I'd vote for either since they were both progressive and had policies that helped and uplifted the middle and working classes.

I've been predicting the "second progressive era" since 2016.

At this rate I'm not going to live to see it. I guess instead I'll get by on my whiteness and be thankful for my house, my pool, and everything else I will be forced to sell when I eventually have my first heart attack.

More or less my plan.

Starting to look like the party is trying to find a way to get him out without it looking like he gave up.

Somebody needs to announce a candidacy if we're going through with this. I don't like the idea of a "tah-dah" new candidate.

I think he'd only do it if it's Harris. I can't even begin to imagine who she would choose as a running mate.

He did look bad going up the back stairs of AF1 this afternoon. I get he's 81, has some health issues and now Covid but again, there is a performative aspect to this job.

Totally agree, it has to be Harris. She too has been stumping hard. No idea who the VP candidate would be?

Shapiro? Moore?

Crazy enough to go with 2 women on the ticket?

2 women sure seems odd as does 2 Californians.

But anybody voting against that ticket on that basis already had their minds made up.

It needs to be somebody who can campaign.
