Even though we all know this... regardless of candidate, party, individual,,office, etc... it is both amazing & scary once the establishment decided to turn on someone.

I really wish he would have capped it at one term.

We would have had a helluva primary with the trump trial and the Israeli genocide in Gaza going on.

He fucking ran on a platform of only being a one term bridge President because of his age in 2020. Now he's just got the hubris to think he's the only one who can beat Trump and has to be America's savior.

The biggest morons are his campaign staff and other advisors who are enabling him and not telling him the truth.

I don't remember him saying he'd only serve one term. But I do agree he's overestimating his own importance.

Yes, he is a vanguard at the door. But he's not the only one with the ability to do it.

He's not going to let anyone push him out so he's chosen to be the one held responsible if he loses. Short of the delegates revolting, I don't see the ticket changing. In which case what Joe needs to be doing last week is dragging Trump into a policy debate. Everybody already knows Joe Biden clears the very low bar of being a better person than Donald Trump.

That's not enough to win a presidential campaign, Hillary.

Like most life-long politicians, Joey is notorious for his ego and his anger. Never got why so many people bought the narrative that he's this kindly ole man that really cares. But you are correct, Dr. Jill, Klain, maybe even Hunter and the very few in his close inner circle are to blame for shielding him from anything critical.

Imagine being so confident with a 32% approval rating. Trump, Carter and HW were the only ones with lower numbers going into an election. Worked out well for each.

He may have not used those exact words but said many times that he wants to be the bridge for younger Dems.

I'll be swayed if it comes out that it was a promise from 2020. I don't remember that being a thing though.

Somebody would have to grow enough sack to announce a candidacy for things to change.

Anecdote...
New York's top court allows a proposed amendment on the November ballot to prevent discrimination based on gender identity and pregnancy outcomes.
The Court of Appeals upheld the lower court's ruling, stating no significant constitutional concerns were at stake.
Democrats anticipate the 'equal rights' amendment will boost their voter turnout by emphasizing it as safeguarding abortion rights.
Codifying Roe is on the New York ballot. New York is not in play.
