Would have been half the distance for that tackle on Pittman and roughing the passer on Sapp plus a fine for whispering in Tim Couch's ear on the ground.

That last run there by Alstott is my favorite run of all time. Dude trucked pretty much the entire Cleveland defense. If we could clone one football player I'd have it be Mike Alstott. Our running game would be fixed instantly. Imagine him in today's NFL against the smaller LBers and Edge guys. Ooooo boy. And with the new offensive rules protecting him he'd be even harder to tackle.

John Lynch would be banned from the league after one game with today's rules. Not a bad thing at all. I miss watching him demolish people over the middle. The only Safety we had who could hit like that, that I recall anyway, was Tanard Jackson. That smackdown he laid on Dallas Clark back in the day was a thing of beauty.

When Lynch pretty much ended his brother-in-laws career in Chicago.
