That's a lot.

Pete bitches about the fed a lot and one of the things he gets right on that front is the insistence of using interest rates to manipulate the economy.

Not that they shouldn't do that, they just shouldn't do it to placate the stock market demands.

My point is that the interest rate and the stock market are piss poor metrics by which to gauge the health of the economy.

Im with you there. I'm just saying that the Fed tends to raise rates when workers get uppity
