That is not a bad point but also grew up in the Ole Sombrero so from '84ish on, I saw them with my own two peepers. Just seemed like the orange was more dull. Then again, I was a kid and am now old so could just be me.
Fair enough. I'm pretty sure the point of the throwbacks is to present them as they were in 76.

Since you mentioned being at a game...How hot is it in late September?

I'm thinking about being on the top level of the home side for the Broncos game and I am worried about contracting skin cancer up there. I know RayJay faces North/South but are we gonna get any sea breeze at all?
To echo Outtie, September is rough. Was way worse in Tampa Stadium with the aluminum bench seating but shape of stadium seemed to lend it more to a breeze. Then again, a hot sticky breeze wasn't much help.

That's why we opted for cheapest Club Level seats in 97 with Ray Jay. At least could go inside and get some sweet AC relief.

But if decide to go, definitely want the West / Home team side as sun in slightly less brutal but if it's a 1 o'clock game? Godspeed Comrade, Godspeed.
Yeah, that's what I was worried about.

I like to think I'd be in some semblance of shade in the second half.

Yeah, I went to the Sombrero once but I was like 5 or 6 so I don't really remember it.

Nice. December games are awesome, especially it manages to line up with a cold front.

Good call! That's awesome... may actually feel a little like the Foosball weather.

Wasn't it black and white back then?

Yeah, December is your best bet for it to be under 100. Went to the home opener last year. Set a ray jay record for most EMS calls inside the stadium.

It was back in the aughts. A score prior to what we called "talkies" in the motion pictures.

Jackass.
