He wasn't in pewter when he did itThat is not a bad point but also grew up in the Ole Sombrero so from '84ish on, I saw them with my own two peepers. Just seemed like the orange was more dull. Then again, I was a kid and am now old so could just be me.
Fair enough. I'm pretty sure the point of the throwbacks is to present them as they were in 76.PetePierson wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:50 amThat is not a bad point but also grew up in the Ole Sombrero so from '84ish on, I saw them with my own two peepers. I went to the home opener against the Saints years ago. Like 2007-2008ish. It was so fucking hot that I was wearing my shirt like a wet turban and it felt like my beer was boiling in my stomach. I've never been back to a day game before November since.emby wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:06 pmFair enough. Since you mentioned being at a game...How hot is it in late September?
I'm thinking about being on the top level of the home side for the Broncos game and I am worried about contracting skin cancer up there. I know RayJay faces North/South but are we gonna get any sea breeze at all?

To echo Outtie, September is rough. Was way worse in Tampa Stadium with the aluminum bench seating but shape of stadium seemed to lend it more to a breeze. Then again, a hot sticky breeze wasn't much help.emby wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:06 pmFair enough. Yeah, that's what I was worried about.PetePierson wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:48 pmTo echo Outtie, September is rough. That's why we opted for cheapest Club Level seats in 97 with Ray Jay. At least could go inside and get some sweet AC relief.
But if decide to go, definitely want the West / Home team side as sun in slightly less brutal but if it's a 1 o'clock game? Godspeed Comrade, Godspeed.
