Tornado in Cape Coral missed dad by less than a mile.

I talked to him. Pretty mild down there but the storm surge is starting.

Storm surge from Ian didn't make it to him so I think he'll be fine.

Good to hear. My dad is in Naples. The tornadoes in that area missed him, he's just getting a ton of rain. I just had my first power flicker. Only realized because my UPS kicked on for like a millisecond. Wind is fucking wild. Wish I had a way to get my camera streams from my house live. My ducks give absolutely zero fucks about this storm.

As I submitted that post I just had a fucking nasty gust. First one that really made me jump.

Had a 60+ ft turkey oak come down in the backyard. Thankfully it only took out my pool screen but things are still hairy.
