I wouldn't put it past Trump to try and pull some shit like that, but it'd be just as easy to make him a policy advisor or some other kind of blue ribbon asshole.

I'd say both Rubio and Gaetz are eyeing the governor seat. Desantis would love that Senate seat. I'd like to see them make a hard right turn on the skyway bridge.

It is the only reason I can think of Rubio at State, freeing up the Senate seat for Trump's choice.
