I just heard Kyle Kulinski yesterday mentioning that Argentina is at 52% living in poverty.
I haven't bothered to see for myself.

Economic crisis
The country has fallen into a recession due to a decline in consumer spending.
Inflation
Argentina's inflation rate is one of the highest in the world, exceeding 230% annually.
Austerity measures
President Javier Milei has implemented austerity measures, including cutting subsidies for energy, fuel, and transportation, and firing thousands of civil servants.
The World Bank says that Argentina has good programs and allocates significant resources to fighting poverty, but the country has not been able to reduce poverty below 25% in the last 40 years.
