I certainly didn't expect a cabinet full of liberty minded people actually wanting to reduce the size / scope of federal government but was hoping for a few but influential voices.

Haley and Pompeo are Neocon Hawks and glad their political careers are over. But Rubio and Walz? Also neocons and both voted to extend FISA.

I know... I know, everyone here but me hates Rand. I do not. He and Massie (used to be Amash) are the few Reps I can stomach.

Rand was a part of the July 4th trip to Moscow with other GOP Senators during the first Trump administration. He's not only a dipshit, but he's disingenuous and possibly a traitor.

Rubio is going to last about 5 mooches as Trump's SoS. He's way too vanilla conservative and a career politician. Those guys don't do well, historically speaking, in Trump administrations.

Because he's not that smart and politically has largely not really had to try or think because he's basically guaranteed re-election as a senator ad nauseam because of the conservative Cuban population.
