Re: Mr. Derrick Brooks
I still say Lavonte is on his level, slightly different skill sets, but very comparable and their stats, projected out another year or two for Lavonte are almost identical with Brooks having more picks but LVD having more sacks, individual tackles, forced fumbled, and fumble recoveries. And I'd like to note that in today's NFL Brooks would almost certainly be an inside LBer as his coverage skills were unparalleled at the time.
We've somehow been blessed with two generational LBers, it's just a shame one was overlooked by the national media though I think he'll get into the Hall eventually.

We were the only team that could shut down Vick's legs because he couldn't out run DB in a spy.emby wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 10:45 amThe guy could fuckin FLYThe Outsider wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 7:56 am I still say Lavonte is on his level, slightly different skill sets, but very comparable and their stats, projected out another year or two for Lavonte are almost identical with Brooks having more picks but LVD having more sacks, individual tackles, forced fumbled, and fumble recoveries.
