Tried another freshwater lake and got skunked again.

An epilogue to this adventure.

On the way there, we stopped at ace hardware and bought live bait because the wife wanted to use live bait. So we get out there and we fish for a cuple of hours until my wife suggests we find another spot on the bank.

I say sure and we walk towards the boat ramp where I immediately find a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers laying in the grass (happy birthday to me) and we proceed to fish a wile longer before she suggests we make a day of it and go to pensacola.

Roll out to pensacola and she uses google maps to find a used record store that ends up being packed to the gills. We buy An Evening with John Denver double live album, Chicago 18, and Born to Run and The River by Springsteen.

Guy was also sitting on a pile of CDs and I snatched up Jewel's first album, Motley Crue's Decade of Decadence, INXS Kick, Richard Marx Repeat offender, and Nickelback's silver side up.

I have a Sony 200 disk CD player to fill and the whole lot was $40.

Anyway, couple that with a nice lunch and some more conventional shopping along with a trip to the vegetable stand and we were sufficiently pooped enough to head home with our loot and I decide to leave the poles and such in the truck alll day yesterday.

Today my truck smells of roasted worms.

Finally caught my first pompano Tuesday night.

Inch too small so I had to let him go, but at least I know they're out there.

Pity because he looked delicious.

Hit Navarre Beach with Kaia and her Nana because when you promise a four year old girl a trip to the beach, you gotta make good on it.

Caught three whiting and three blue grunts. No keepers and the June grass was a sumbich, but Kaia had a great time and is KTFO for a while.

Last weekend for the pool. Gotta rinse off all this fookin sand.

It's barely noon and a great day.

Hit the beach before dawn and got a real nice whiting for my efforts. Bait fish gobbled up the rest of my shrimp.

I'm still cleaning up my backyard from Milton. 40 ft of oak tree is not easy to deal with when you have a bum upper body in general. So moving wood around and playing video games primarily.
