Somebody on the buccaneer subreddit pointed out that if we can get one win out of the next three games, we'd come out of the bye week 5-5 where most people had us anyway.

Beat Atlanta and the division is still doable.

If it's San Francisco, we'd have tiebreakers over the miners, lions, eagles, and commanders.

If we beat the Swifties it's a statement win for the team. That builds momentum coming out of the bye.

Well, that sucked. Defense is obviously the problem and a lot of it is scheming. The only straight up bad players we have are Britt and to a lesser extend Funderburk, but he's also a UDFA rookie so I don't expect him to be great. Remember how shitty Zyon looked his rookie year.

At least we aren't the Jets. I'm now on the Fire Bowles train. Coen runs our offense so well. Baker has thrown picks this year, but a lot of that is down to how bad our defense is and now with no real WRs he's gotta make risky throws because we can't get sepraration. The only unit that sucks is our pass defense and it doesn't make sense because most of our guys in the secondary are either really fucking good or at least servicable. Bowles' system is untenable unless you have great coverage ILBs and really fucking good boundary corners. We only have one of each of those.
