Did the league just pilfer half the coaching staff or what?

I'm at a loss trying to figure out why Canales is considered such a huge loss for us. He was decent, don't get me wrong, but he's had one season in a position higher than being a position coach and he wasn't great at it, especially his playcalling which was hot and cold.

I would not at all have been upset to see him come back, but it's almost a Raheem Morris situation where a dude with a ton of potential is going to flame out due to a lack of experience and then end up being a good OC in the league for the next decade.

Our next thread should be a David Tepper appreciation thread though.

I guess if you're going to tout your organization as a coach factory, there's going to be buyers every year.

The only one out of those I even care about is the O-line coach. Coen will be fine in place of Canales and our Special Teams weren't very special aside from our kicker and punter and I think that has a lot more to do with the individuals than the coach.
