These lists are kinda dope if you think about it.

If you gave someone five Beatles songs who had never heard them, the songs you pick could paint a very different portrait of the band than what I might pick.

Try distilling George Strait to five songs. Yeesh!

Drum Daddy takes on Tool. Half hour watch, but really entertaining if you're into this sort of thing.

Funny is that I hadn't heard the song yet myself. Fear Inoculum was on that 50 albums list from a couple years ago and I stopped just short of this one.

Wife wasn't able to keep a lid on my fadder's day gift so I get them when they come in.

Def Leppard's Hysteria and Elton John's Madman across the water on vinyl.

Hysteria is just a seminal album for me. I played that tape for a good three solid years and it's one of the best A-sides ever.

Madman is a deliberate effort to get more Elton John on vinyl. My dad gave me a copy of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and I wanted to add this one and eventually Honky Chateau and maybe Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player.

I prefer 70's Elton above all other incarnations.
