Go back and watch Shawn Fein from the UAW on the first night. Bro is based as fuck. The Outsider wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 9:14 am Didn't watch night 1 of the DNC, but I did watch a fair amount of last night. Emhoff's speech was great. Pritzker saying the only thing Trump has in abundance is stupidity was almost cathartic. I honestly haven't seen this much energy and hype around a political event since Obama's fist campaign.
I watched a recording of that last night as well. "To quote the great American poet, Nelly, 'It's getting hot in here'." Fucking fantastic.emby wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 9:43 amGo back and watch Shawn Fein from the UAW on the first night. Nah. Fein and AOC had me fired up night one and I was digging Pritzger and Bernie last night.
This was me in March while Joe ras riding high on his State of the Union speech.emby wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 8:37 am Hayley peeled off an average of fifteen percent of the Republican vote.
That's enough Biden Republicans to win every swing state. About a seven point swing that puts Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Arizona out of reach for trump.
Turnout increases for Democrats due to abortion rights and healthcare (Biden hasn't even brought up the public option yet) put Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina, and even Kentucky in play.
Ted Cruz is vulnerable and he admits it. I dunno if we're flipping Texas yet. Seems pie in the sky at this point.
