Mark Kelly would be an interesting VP pick. He'd pull AZ and I'm positive he'd appeal to moderate Republicans who don't like Trump as well as undecided voters in general. He's got the whole astronaut angle as well.Is it still too soon to call this race for Harris?

I'm hearing Andy Beshear from Kentucky. 46 year old two term governor of a Red State. The Outsider wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 9:29 am Mark Kelly would be an interesting VP pick. That'd be solid.

Pelosi and Whitmer have endorsed Harris.
Once Barry endorses, there's no point in anyone running.
And for our guests wondering if I'm somehow conflicted by all this....I've already voted for Harris before. And would have voted for Biden's German Shepard with the exact same fervor since you all decided to put your sacred honor behind the traitor shitbag sexual predator that you call fit to serve.

Dumb fucks having a normal one.
"She's stupid"
"She's the luckiest person ever"
"She's a whore"
"She's unattractive"
They got nothing. They have no substantive critique of Harris. It's just racism, sexism, and slut shaming.

Kamala Harris is the poster child of black privilege. Her losing the election to Trump would be like a affirmative action admission into Harvard failing all courses and being expelled from the University by the end of first semester.
I cannot remember a Presidential candidate that was as lucky as she is in my lifetime, except maybe George Bush for being the son of Bush Sr. And she is the only candidate capable of losing the game in level 1 despite being equipped with all the cheat codes.
Slept her way to become influential within CA. In the Democratic primaries of 2020, she was afraid she would finish last within CA among serious candidates vying to be the Democratic nominee. So she drops out to hide the embarrassment. Then becomes the beneficiary of George Floyd being George Floyd on drugs. Cackles like a clown. Horrible at speeches. Horrible at improvisation. Horrible at being a politician. Horrible at almost everything.

Trump might wanna start talking policy.
Like illegal immigration. That national security issue that is soooooooo bad that the bipartisan immigration bill had to get voted down twice in order for Tump to be able to run on something other than his need for immunity from prosecution.

This is one of the few scenarios in which Joe Biden's German Shepherd's tendency to bite people would be a bonus.emby wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 2:23 pm Pelosi and Whitmer have endorsed Harris.

There is a legitimate criticism to be made against Harris but the right can't effectively make that point because it's something they're worse about. Namely her record of being harsh on marijuana crimes.emby wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 2:29 pm Dumb fucks having a normal one.

But again, that's only a point that the left can attack her on effectively so in this case it's more or less irrelevant.

The operative word in my post being 'effectively'. They can try, but it's going to come off as bullshit to anyone but MAGAs. That's really where they're fucked. Without 'Biden old' they have nothing with which to appeal to people who weren't already going to vote for him.emby wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 3:13 pmThe degenerates won't be able to resist being the degenerates they are.The Outsider wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 3:03 pmThere is a legitimate criticism to be made against Harris but the right can't effectively make that point because it's something they're worse about. Re: Is it still too soon to call this race for Harris?
She is attractive for a woman pushing 60, was very good looking as a younger woman.
I don't care that she got after it with Montell Williams or her boss. I'm no one to judge.
She is smart. She's just has been very bad in front of the camera until very recently. She's improved and been better on the stump the last few months.
But don't say they don't have anything.
She didn't make it to Iowa, shit I'm not sure she made it to January 2020 with her campaign.
She has had a tough time with staffers most of her career. Maybe she hires the wrong ppl (which isn't good either) but my guess is she is or was a vapid cunt to work for.
More importantly, she had some major fuckups as State Attorney. Bad optics on all of the weed charges. Bump those authoritative stances / actions against the 180 to "defund the police", bailing out / raising funds for rioters during the mostly peaceful protests Summer 2020.
Border Czar / Root Causes, billions wasted "fixing" employment in central & south America and the very effective policy of simply stating; "Do not come", only visiting the region like twice, not sure what she's done for voting rights but that was her thing as well.
But her leaning into the abortion issue has been effective (IMO).
TLDR: There's plenty of legit reasons to criticize her but people are lying if they deny she hasn't improved as a politician.
But I still don't see this country electing a woman POTUS. Not her anyway.

I think she'll fare well against the oldest nominee ever.
