And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I'm talking to a friend who is currently in his 18th year in the infantry. He tells me the wound is consistent with a ricochet graze. Combine that with reports of two dead in the crowd and the logical conclusion immediately comes into focus. Two wahoos in the crowd started shooting at each other and Trump got grazed by a ricochet. Not an assassination attempt but an indictment of how wildly unstable his core base is.

I don't believe that for one moment (two dudes just having a gun fight). But a strong narrative for the left to jump on.

My friend in the Army isn't "the left" he was simply giving his opinion based on available evidence as someone who is more experience in combat with firearms than a good majority of the country. I was providing his opinion because it's a hell of a lot more informed than mine.
