Scouting RB's in 2024

Post by emby »

Original idea for the thread was to look at the Kentucky prospects that Cohen could bring in.

His QB, Leary for instance could ostensibly help Cohen install the offense (Is that even necessary with Baker?) or Maybe OG Kenneth Horsey could be had on day three as a 6'3 311lb guard who already knows the blocking scheme.

But the top prospect coming out of Kentucky this year is RB Ray Davis whom Draftek has as the 11th ranked RB at 161 overall which ain't a bad place to get a second half closer of a RB.

Let's roooolll that beautiful bean footage and see what we got here...

He Romped Florida. Doug Martin vibes.

136 all purpose on 18 touches. Not a bad option if we're looking for a #2 RB first thing in the morning on day three of the draft.

Blake Corum still turns me on and I wanna look at the guy coming out of Texas too. I think the question on Davis here is whether or not he can give me Doug Martin production.

I like Corum but I think he's going to go pretty high and we have some bigger holes to fill. Plus I like White as our #1 guy. I'd love to take a flier on a bigger back in the mid rounds, I'm not sure who that would be, but someone like a Allgeier, Vereen, or even like a Blount type.

I'm not prioritizing our needs just yet but I get what you're saying about wanting a big back.

I'd be banging the table for Derrick Henry if I didn't see Yaya Diaby square him up and drop him for a loss with my own eyes.

Henry has always been more of a guy who gets up to speed and has a mean stiff arm but if you get him before he really starts to get going he can be stopped. Also, Diaby is fucking strong as hell.
