Or it was just a shit campaign when your district has a large contingency of Jews. Dude is basically MAGA leftist. A blowhard full of conspiracy theories

He won't be the last Squad member to fall and back to being irrelevant they go.

My guess is that Wildebeest is gone, too. Presley and Talib could be in danger of losing their seats as well but not a sure thing.
You want to call this an ideological win for the right?

The only thing the right proved tonight is they're still good with carpetbagger politicians.

The DNC proved that it will still take it's own people out if you got enough money. Can't wait to see the progress this guy brings to Washington.

Dude, I don't care about the right. MGT, Gaetz, Boebart (I mean I'd bang her) and a host of other Freedom Causes members are just as big of idiots.

I'm saying Bowman is also a fucking idiot. Even Ritchie Torres (young gay black / Puerto Rican rep from NY) clowned Bowman and his childish ranting & cursing. Are you that dug in that you can't admit he ran a terrible campaign capped off by an unhinged rant?

More power to you if you think that's progress. I see AOC won. Has she ever gotten a bill out of committee? She is too fucking stupid to actually legislate. These two imbeciles are progress to you?

Zoinks Man.... you maybe too far gone.

No Pete. I actually paid no attention to this primary until sam seder raised the alarm last week.

But if you'd like me to go back through the campaign and identify the specifics that may run counter to your take I suppose I could.

I was just going to take the L. The only pushback I'm giving you is that it's indicative of some sort of momentum for this fall.

It's one primary.

No, definitely don't waste your time going back to analyze the campaign. And you're right, it is just one primary in kind of a weird district (from what I can tell).

I don't have any hard facts / proof. Just a feeling that both major parties are going to shift back to the middle. In the end, it will still be the uniparty but hopefully some of the rhetoric will chill.

Oh, I agree with that. It's one of the reasons I have Biden winning. Republicans are too extreme for the electorate.

The GOP as we knew it is done. There ain't no coming back from whatever the Hell it is now. But you do realize that most normies (including Dems) feel that the Squad and their progressive policies are too extreme as well, right?

No. I don't think that at all.

I think Biden is to the right of the electorate and the electorate doesn't like that. Same reason they hated Obama. Same reason they hate Hillary.

The problem with all three of them is that they think it's principled to not serve the base of the party and deliver for them politically. But of the three of them Biden has done the most. What is ultimately going to sink Trump is that he never delivered anything substantive to his base and he's not promising anything substantive now.

The doom is really starting to sink in over in MAGAland. They're clinging to the push polls with all their might.

You sincerely believe that the majority of the electorate align more with the AOCs, Talib's and Omar's of the world than more centrist candidates / politicians? Or that is your hope?

On policy. Yeah.

What is it? half of republicans support a public option, pot legalization, universal background checks to buy a gun and a path to citizenship?

The voters are to the waaaaay left of the beltway.

I don't understand your fixation with the right. I am talking about the overall electorate? And it is most likely the people I know personally / hang with but I can't think of one person in my life that wants more 2A restrictions.

And give me a break with the "comprehensive immigration reform" talking point. Both parties have had decades to do something but they haven't and they won't. Dems are hoping they get their votes, all businesses like the cheap labor and the right loves the scare tactics.

However, I do think that the illegals issue has gotten so bad the last three years that we will begin to see some serious issues with vigilante "justice" if little kids continue to get assaulted and raped by illegal aliens combined with the right leaning corporate media amplifying the stories.

Again, could be my own personal echo chamber but I feel the majority of people are over the extremes from both sides.
